The Abington Area Joint Recreation Board (AAJRB) project consisted of several improvements at the AAJRB’s Hillside Park in South Abington Township.  Funded in part by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, this 2015 project included layout revisions and renovations to two softball fields, along with dugout and fencing installations.  The parking lot was improved with bituminous pavement, and a rain garden was constructed to mitigate stormwater impacts.  Improved walkways and recreational trails were installed to improve the interconnectivity of park features.  In a previous project, CNA developed plans for the construction of a synthetic turf multi-purpose field.
